So I'm in a bit of a pickle with my 2015 CLS and I'm hoping someone here has been through something similar and can offer some advice. The car's ABC suspension has started acting up, it's been getting progressively stiffer over the past few weeks and now it's started making this groaning noise from the front whenever I go over bumps, which I'm pretty sure means the accumulators or maybe even the pump are on their way out. I've done some research and I know this system is notoriously complex and expensive to fix, but I'm not really in a position to just hand over a blank cheque to the dealer and hope for the best. I've been calling around a few independent workshops and the quotes I'm getting are all over the place, some of them seem reasonable but I'm worried they don't actually know what they're doing with the ABC system and I'll end up paying twice. I've heard there's an Affordable Mercedes suspension workshop in Dubai that apparently does a lot of ABC work without charging the earth, but I can't seem to find any solid reviews from people who've actually used them for this specific system. Has anyone here had ABC work done on their CLS, S-Class or SL somewhere that didn't completely break the bank and actually got the job done properly? I'm not looking for the cheapest option out there, I just want someone fair who knows these systems inside out and won't try to upsell me on stuff I don't need. Really appreciate any honest feedback because I'm proper stressed about this one.
